I am pleased to share that I have acquired Coder Radio and new episodes should be out as early as Monday February 17th. This change will relieve Coder of the pressures of the Ad Winter and allow us to experiment with the format a bit and get more interesting voices on the show.
The first new episode features an interview with Warp’s Zach Lloyd and a little Rust tidbit as well as more transparency into forward plans. The main Coder feed is staying where it is and if you want to participate in the show / community, checkout the Discord.
I want to take the opportunity to thank the awesome team at JupiterBroadcasting for giving me a shot and teaching me everything from proper JarJar comedic timing to how to properly hookup a Rode Podcaster. I especially want to recognize Chris, Drew and Wes for all their help and wonderful contributions to the show. If you don’t know Drew, he was the show’s long-suffering editor, having to deal with my endless “likes” and “ums” and pauses. I have a ton of respect for the JB crew and will still be listening to LUP etc and urge you all to do the same; you can’t really beat JB when it comes to Linux coverage.
